Legal AI Series Session 1: GenAI in Disclosure - Hype, Help or Headache?

12th November 2025 @ 6:00pm to 8:00pm

FTI Consulting, 200 Aldersgate, Aldersgate Street, London EC1A 4HD

The Junior LSLA and FTI Consulting are pleased to announce that they will be holding a panel discussion and networking evening on the use of GenAI in document review and disclosure.

The first in a new series of events that will focus on the intersection of GenAI and legal practice. In this session, our esteemed panellists will discuss how AI is currently being deployed in the document review and disclosure process and what the future holds, as well as offering practical tips and insight into best practices. There will be an opportunity for attendees to ask questions and raise topics for discussion.

After the session, you will have an opportunity to get hands-on with breakout stations where you can test GenAI tools yourself, as well as a chance to enjoy drinks, nibbles, and networking with fellow legal minds.

Chair: Edward Nyman - Senior Associate, Hausfeld & Co LLP

Panellists: Jacob Turner - Barrister, Fountain Court
Emma Ruane - Partner, Peters & Peters Solicitors LLP
Ryan Hynes - Managing Director, FTI Consulting

Following the panel, FTI will have several breakout stations where you can get hands-on and have some fun with GenAI:

  • Prompting 101: Learn the best (and worst) ways to prompt models for disclosure-specific tasks.
  • “Vibe Coding” Station: Partner with FTI’s Innovation Engineers to create and launch your world-changing app (within the 20 min time limit!).
  • Inside the Actor’s Studio: Write, direct, and star in your own GenAI film thriller.
  • Everyone’s a Critic: Prompt your own AI art masterpiece then submit it to the judgment of your peers. Prizes for the winners.
  • Technology Moot Court: Adapted from real-life cases, learn to pick apart an opponent’s GenAI disclosure, criticise their prompts, and spot flaws in their validation procedures.
