By reference to recent cases, Daniel will explore how petitioners ca exploit the court's wide powers under section 994 of the Companies Act 2006 to obtain relief against parties who were never shareholders in or directors of the relevant company - and how respondents, too, can make use of the ins and outs of this statutory jurisdiction.
