Venue: Simmons & Simmons LLP
Panelists: The Rt Hon Dame Elizabeth Gloster DBE, PC, The Hon Mr Justice Knowles CBE, Chief Master Matthew Marsh, Ed Crosse (Simmons & Simmons LLP) and Natalie Osafo (Slaughter and May)
In this session, the panel will provide their unique insight and discussion on the new Disclosure Pilot Scheme, which is set to transform and modernise the approach currently taken to disclosure under CPR Part 31 in the Business & Property Courts. The changes are the result of a two-year review undertaken by the Rolls Building Disclosure Working Group in consultation with the profession. The panel, which includes the chair of the Working Group, three members of the drafting committee and Natalie Osafo (President of the Junior LSLA), will explain the thinking behind the new rules and what they will mean in practice for clients and their advisers.
